What is Property Management ?

Property management involves the operation, control, and oversight of a rental property. It encompasses the tasks and responsibilities necessary to maintain and maximize the value of a property on behalf of its owner such as, ensuring the properties are well-maintained and compliant with regulations, handling tenant relations and leasing, collecting rent, budgeting, and maintaining records. Property managers act as intermediaries between property owners and tenants, striving to create a harmonious and stress free relationship for all parties involved while ensuring the property remains a valuable asset over time.

Who will oversee any repairs?

If you choose the Let & Full Management service, our management department will organise inspection to determine who is liable for the repairs and arrange for the work to be carried out by a qualified contractor, usually one who does regular work for us.

How do i know im getting a good tenant?

Firstly we pre qualify all tenants before they can submit an application to rent a property. Once an application has been submitted, we conduct identity and residency checks on all applicants and depending on the level of service you choose, we conduct optimum tenant credit and reference checks to ensure they have a good track record with previous tenancies and be able to meet their financial obligations during their tenancy.

What should i do if my tenant doesn’t pay the rent?

If the Management service is chosen, the rent guarantee will be invoked as specified. The management department shall conduct the rental arrears process if rent collection service is in place. There are set procedures for dealing with rent arrears and we can give guidance on the process for gaining possession of the property if needed.

How much will it cost to let my property?
